DIGSI 4 uses the IEC 61850 System Configurator for system engineering of parameterized devices. The configurator offers a manufacturer-neutral solution for interoperable engineering of IEC 61850 products and systems. It supports SCL (Substation Configuration Description Language) files from IEC 61850-6 through import and export of formats such as ICD, IID, CID, SCD, SSD, and SED.
